Okay, this is a game I picked up from another forum. Essentially, one person starts a story, then types "..." at the end and someone else picks up where they left off, bringing themselves (by their alias, preferably...) into the story and taking over from there. They write a segment, then type "..." and you get the rest. Trust me, it starts out awkward, but I've heard it's REALLY fun. But first off, some rules:
1. NO sex. Let's keep this somewhat appropriate, okay?
2. When writing for other people's aliases, let's keep this SOMEWHAT in character, alright? If you happen to hate the person who posted just before you, don't go nuts on them when it's your turn to take over the story (and their character) for revenge.
3. Other than that...GO NUTS! You can be serious, funny, or just plain ridiculous for all I care, let's just have fun!

Thalia inhaled deeply, soaking up the scent of another yet another sleepless night. Exhaling softly, breath just barely visible in the cool night air, she stepped forward and took another drag on her cigarette. Sneakers slick from wet pavement, she stopped a short ways from the lamplight...she preferred to walk in darkness...and looked up into the inky black outline of parting clouds, into the stars.
"I'm so fucking bored," she muttered to herself, crushing the butt of her cigarette under one wet shoe and digging into her pockets for another. No sooner had she held up her lighter, her cell phone began to ring. It was two-thirty in the morning for crying out loud...who could it possibly be? She flipped the cover open without bothering to check callerID.
"Hey," she said, and waited for a response.
