Wireless router question...

So which is the best? I know that this is a very newb question to ask, so let me elaborate some. I've purchased at least two routers so far in my life and both have led to nothing but pain and anguish. Both were Linksys, I figured the first lame one was just a bad version fluke... the second one proved that wrong :(.

So I guess the real question should be more like, what's the best BRAND of wireless routers out there; which ones are more reliable?

Any input will be welcome.
