no update today... cant get my uploads to work
however... i would like everyone to know that there is an outload webcomic in the works... a real one that will seriously be updated every couple of days.
give me at least a month to get all the drawings and the process squared away and we should see the first strip up and running.
i may just transform my whole site to revolve around it, but we will see...
this is a serious thing i am starting, what better practice for a graphic design major??
i will post some random pictures in this thread for character brainstorming but i want help
also, i dont have a scanner so all the pictures will be photos of sketches for now... i plan to get one soon though...
and... if anyone would specifically like to be a character please request that here =] i've already got pretty good plans for some of the outloadies
main chars.
me- stoner slacker game freak (xbox PC)
roy- engineer with goggles and such linux shirt
millar- always has cig, icp hat, linux junkie
kuni- pessimist, talented one, spiky hair, reality check guy, japan freak, other game freak (GC PS2)
supporting chars.
doc- miller's computer will take on the persona of doc... wise
kain- raver, headphones, big jacket with mitsubishi diamonds
miller's dad- sick jokes, glasses, 1337 one..
basil- camoed out, super intense
vash- anime freak, fanboy, cigars
dub c/holden- pranksters, drinkers, party guys
koby- mute, will represent commentary by thinking, brilliant
arkady(kyle)- talks little, rpg freak, gentle giant
ace- annoying one... no one wants to hang out with him, talks about vaginas, the fat kid
miller's mom- like bam margera's mom, tense but fun
most of the strip will revolve around the lives of the 4 mains who will be roommates in the strip, going to community college.
all characters are of course just exaggerated versions of their real life counterparts. these are all just rough ideas, but i want this comic to be solid so if anyone has ideas... please post them!!
